Lt. Col., then Major Noble L. Morton, Jr, Pilot May 1966-67, later with USAF Southern Command, I'll call Spooky South, 1967-70. Deceased 1989, father of 14 children. I would love to hear from anyone who knew him to exchange stories. Anyone who needs my phone number please call Mike Acosta
One time he asked his copilot to get him a cup of coffee. When the copilot returned, my dad told him, "While you were out I had your seat air conditioned... a bullet had gone completely through the seat. The copilot was extremely grateful and said he owed my father his life and anything he ever needed, just let him know... The next time my dad asked him for a cup of coffee, you couldn't believe just how fast he flew out of his seat to get that cup of coffee."
